Screeding services is the process of levelling and smoothing the top layer of a floor or other surface, to provide a certain type of finish and protection. It is a highly specialised job, resulting in a smooth, uniform finish to your floor which would otherwise be unachievable.

We have provided rendering and screeding services to a number of clients in a number of sectors, always ensuring that we meet not only BSI standards but also the increasingly tough European regulations.

Our factory-mixed screeding services give a much greater uniform strength throughout the structure, as well as providing excellent cement dispersion for an improved finish. It allows us to work with the screed for up to twelve hours and is flexible in its application. In situations where acoustic or thermal insulation are required, or in which weight reduction is a factor, alternative mixtures can be provided to suit your specific requirements.

There is an increasing demand for mixes incorporating an even dispersion of polypropylene fibres, which we can also easily provide. These fibres help to control future cracking caused by stresses by providing a more cohesive mix to work with, which might be suitable in a range of applications.

In some situations, a flow screed might be suitable. This is a specific type of product which can be very easily and quickly laid, as it is a highly versatile form of screed. It can be laid anywhere between ten and twenty times faster than a conventional form of screed, and in many cases can receive foot traffic within 36 hours — much less than other types of screeding mix.
